So Many Miracles!

I’ve never seen so many miracles and crazy things in my life than what I’ve seen this week… But first off… Shiprock…doing amazing…Elder Hanson and I…are on fire!! We’re doing great and loving it. Found lots of people out in Red Valley to teach, which was a miracle because Red Valley is like in the middle of nowhere… like there is Shiprock, the desert, out in the middle of the desert there’s the actual Shiprock and then more desert and more desert… then Red Valley. We also found a nice single lady with a couple younger kids by chopping her wood out Cudei… service softens hearts!!

But God definitely made up for it...I have to be careful about how I talk about this miracle to keep it sacred but I wouldn't consider any of you swine to cast my pearls too so I feel good. The Garnanez family, he's a Methodist pastor and they both do tons of stuff at their church. We've been teaching them and this week we're on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We had the most powerful lesson. We solemnly declared that we must be baptized by the proper priesthood authority in order to live with God again. We told them that authority was only found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Spirit was so strong and they believed us. Sister Garnenez just broke down crying when we explained what the Gift of the Holy Ghost is, she just kept saying "that sounds so wonderful" We asked them to be baptized and they both, along with their son, accepted! They then began to explain this serious, serious problem that has been in their home and it was bad....they told us that they'd been searching for the true church by having ministers and pastors from church after church come over to heal them and bless the home, but none of them worked so they knew they had false authority. It's an amazing feeling when the Spirit of God not only reassures you that you can perform this miracle...but to do it...immediately.
And we did.

I testify that the Priesthood of God is real.

The Garnenez family will be getting baptized in a few months:)
I love you all and hope you have a happy holiday!!

-Elder Anderson
