Where to start...the hospital? Or the trailer Park?;) This week was full of miracles, we've been meeting with Bonnie, she's a Baptist with a close-minded view on Mormons from bad experiences but she's been letting us share messages with her. On Thursday she finally let us share the restoration, I was so worried I would say something wrong, so much pressure because she was finally letting us! Well I prayed and the Lord told me "Don't worry about it Elder, your job is to give her the simple lesson, I will do the rest". Well the Lord pulled through, we were having her read a scripture out of the Book of Mormon, she stopped and looked at a different scripture, which was odd. She read it and said, "That scripture just connected this book with the Holy Bible. Elder Conrad and I bore our testimonies that the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ just like the Bible, The spirit was so strong it felt as though all of us in that room were burning with fire, she declared that she knew it was true. The Spirit constrained me on setting a Baptism date, I don't know why, but it's not time to ask her yet, but it was definitely a miracle.
Alex and Aaron fell of date last week as you know, but we reset them for March 19th, we were worried if they were converted, then in fast and testimony Alex got up and bore a powerful testimony on his conversion. He's ready. Elder Conrad also gave his last testimony. Yes, this is goodbye, Transfer news came Saturday, he's leaving to Bayfield, he's still in my zone which is cool but still so sad, the success we've had together is amazing and I'll never forget it. I'm picking up my new Companion in Farmington tomorrow, He's coming up from the Deep Rez (Indian Wells) He's a young missionary like me, I'm excited. He's gonna flip out on how many dinner appointment we get up here in white man land, Cortez is called the Garden of Eden or the Promised land in the MIssion haha:)
We went on exchanges one last time this week, I went with the brand new Elder and taught him a lot, we had a lot of fun. This transfer really ripped the district apart though, it will never be the same here, but I'm excited for a new adventure with Elder Clark.
We spent all day saying goodbye yesterday, and had a Huge dinner at the Smiths (basically our mission mama, I love them soooo much).
Soo time for the story: Well, Elder Conrad and I went Mtn. Biking with the Young Men, up in Phils World. It was AMAZING. Well towards the very end....You guessed it, Elder Conrad crashed...again...He flipped over his bike and dislocated his shoulder 100% out of place. I though he had a broken humorous it was protruding so much into his skin. So now we had a problem, we were in the Middle of Nowhere. Some of the young men went to get help while I treated Him. I used my shirt to make a sling that the ER docs were impressed with;) I try:) No, the Lord definitely helped us, I gave him a priesthood blessing that we could get him off the mountain safely because he was in shock and falling unconscious. Bishop found away to go off-roading so we only had to carry him about a half mile out. Took him to the Hospital, and they put him to sleep and set his shoulder back in place after an MRI exam. They released him that day and we spent the rest of the day hanging out with bishop playing Risk. Crazy adventure to go out on! I've definitely seen the Lord's hand in my life this week and Know He Lives! Hagonee!
